The Hollywood chic were out on Thursday September 19, 2013 as LURE hosted Fashion & Music's Night Out, a benefit featuring some of the West Coast's top urban female fashion and accessory designers, with a portion of all proceeds going directly to a great cause.
Operation Smile is a non-profit organization that has provided more than 3.5 million comprehensive patient evaluations as well as over 200,000 free surgeries for children and young adults born with facial deformities since 1982.
Don Benjamin (America's Next Top Model Season 20) was the MC for the evening, and DJ Mark Lewis was on the decks. Cake Buzz sampled their delicious liqueur cakes, which featured both sugar-free and gluten-free selections.
Spring/Summer 2014 collections featured sleek lines from Miss Jumpin, urban sass from Peache', bold colors and ornate chainwork from Explicit Designs Jewelry and sexy swimwear from the Suite J andKamoni lines.
Headlining musical act Jillisa Lynn heated up the stage performing her singles "Already Goin Down" and"Skin" - complete with on-stage costume changes, solid choreography and on-point background dancers. A former covergirl from Rochester, New York, Lynn is now focusing more on her music and acting.
VIP gift bags for the evening feautured the women designers who were showcased on the runway.
